Trama
Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe - Le Origini, film diretto da Robert Schwentke, è uno spin-off della serie di film d'azione G.I. Joe. È incentrato su Snake Eyes (Henry Golding), il membro più silenzioso del gruppo militare anti-terrorista, accompagnato in ogni missione dal suo lupo domestico Timber.
Quando Snake Eyes salva la vita a un uomo, non immagina che questo sia l'erede legittimo di un antico e segreto clan giapponese, l'Arashikage, che per anni ha portato pace e stabilità al proprio Paese, combattendo il Cobra, la maggiore organizzazione terroristica del mondo. Il suo atto da eroe gli vale l'ammissione a esso. Giunto nel Paese del Sol Levante, Snake Eyes viene introdotto alla dottrina del clan e gli vengono insegnati i dettami dei guerrieri ninja. Qui l'uomo sente di aver trovato finalmente un posto degno di essere definito "casa". La lealtà e la fiducia promessa al clan, però, vengono meno, quando il suo passato segreto viene rivelato. È a quel punto che Snake Eyes si ritroverà davanti una scelta: mantenere la fiducia di chi gli è stato accanto in questo ultimo periodo o tradirla?
